My Opinion on the Prosimmon X9 Golf Clubs
As a starter set of clubs they fit the bill perfectly. Overisized driver and high lofted wood with graphite shafts and perimeter weighting. The oversized clubhead improves ball contact for those who aren’t confident ball strikers. Graphite is a lot lighter then steel so it promotes speed in your swing resulting in much longer shots. The perimeter weighting on the driver and wood increases the size of the sweet spot which increases forgiveness which results in straighter longer shots.
Hybrids are great versatile clubs and ideal for beginners who don’t quite have the confidence to hit their long irons. The bag consists of a 3 and 4 hybrid. The the irons included are from 5-PW and SW. These come with a steel shaft as steel promotes more feel and consistency which is essential for a better touch around the greens. You also get an oversized mallet putter which is great for beginners as well as it helps promote more touch and forgiveness on the greens.
The bag is roomy and has extra padding for those long 18 hole hikes. It’s not mentioned in box but the clubs come with head covers and the bag has a rain cover. Not a defining decision to buy but a nice suprise nonetheless I’m sure.
Overall, for the price you can’t really get much better from a beginner set of golf clubs. The clubs have receive some rave reviews online with 5 star ratings across the board on Amazon.com. Click here to see the reviews now.
